Former Director of Business Development for Renewables at Wood, Richard Bennett, has joined LightEdison as Director of Business Development for Utility-scale Solar and BESS.
In Houston, Jeff Muir has joined Fengate Asset Management as Director of Energy Transition from 547 Energy, a clean energy investment platform of Quantum Capital Group.
Concentrated solar power technology and development company 247Solar Inc hired Adarsh Ghosh as CFO, Kristen Griffin as Chief Product Officer, and John Guice as Strategic Business Developer.
Miller Bros Solar welcomed Kyle Charpie as Regional Manager for Utility from Acciona where he was Regional Manager for O&M in North Texas.
Matthew Smith joined Terrasmart, the renewable energy portfolio of publicly-traded Gibraltar, is a solar racking OEM and balance-of-system provider serving the commercial and utility sectors in North America, as Director of Business Development from LONGi Solar where he was Senior Sales Manager for Western US.
AUI Partners, a Texas-based construction contractor, hired 4 new employees including a new Commissioning Manager, JR Johnston, Adnan Al-Juboori as Assistant Project Manager, Luccaus Volling as Superintendent for Renewables, and Victor Cervantes as Project Engineer for BESS
Swiss solar panel OEM Meyer Burger announced laid off up to 350 employees at its solar panel assembly in Arizona.
Rob Spotts, one of the pioneers of the solar industry in the United States, passed away in April. He was involved in the clean energy industry since the 1980s across developers, OEMs, and installers.
